Trezor.io/Start

"Trezor.io/start ensures you have full control and ownership of your digital assets from setup onwards."

In January 2024, Trezor experienced a significant data breach that exposed the email addresses and names of approximately 66,000 users. This breach occurred due to unauthorized access to a third-party support portal. While no user funds were compromised, the exposed contact information heightened the risk of phishing attacks, where malicious actors could impersonate Trezor to steal login credentials or private keys (Hackread).

Trezor responded by notifying affected users, conducting a thorough investigation, and advising users on steps to protect themselves from phishing attempts. These steps included being cautious with emails, changing passwords and PINs, and enabling two-factor authentication (Hackread).
